Nexperia makes single transistor MOSFETS, China doesn't even remotely need any European machine to produce them.
Their European fabs however does not have advanced silicone carbide wafer capability that China has so even if the Dutch can somehow find packaging for them it'd still be a generation behind Wingtech's new fab.

You might also notice China hasn't agreed to Europe's surrender yet, maybe China just want Nexperia Europe to die and western automakers continue to request new shipments on a case by case basis based on behavior.

Just like with Trump, allowing Europe to surrender would be China's concession, because China can always say no and let western auto starve.

Singlish is not the same as Singaporean-accented English. Singlish uses a Chinese grammatical order ("you want go watch movie ah?" is a direct translation of 你要去看电影吗？ as opposed to English "do you want to go to watch a movie?") and very large amount of non-English vocabulary, making it a creole language like Haitian creole or Jamaican Patois, or the many of the other Caribbean islands. Singaporeans speak in the former to each other casually and in the latter in official business or to foreigners. This recording is an example of the former. And this video has two Singaporeans speaking in the two different languages side by side for contrast:

This is short sighted view. We all know there is on going campaign, 1.6 billion USD currently, for decades to demonize China and Chinese.
Unlike Hong Kong, Singapore have always emphasized on preserving our Chinese roots but maintain racial harmony by not being overly pro China. Thats why we have Speak Mandarin campaigns and compulsory Mandarin language lessons in schools.

We should not easily give in to this culture war by the US to sway our young from our Chinese roots.
With the US massive influence in the english media, this will not be easy. Furthermore, presently we still need the US for our national security so our tiny speck of a nation will need to proceed precariously in geopolitics.

If a whole commercial street is being taken over by Western, Korean, or Japanese brands, I don't think these folks will be complaining about losing their cultural heritage. You can complain, but don't be prejudiced.

This is free market in action, the Chinese franchises can pay more rent, and they are crazy competitive. Hence they can dominate a commercial space. But if people want to find the local cuisine, they can still go to the food courts, HDB flat eateries, and other humble places.
