I was semi-joking, but I see some huge implications if China made this kind of request and hypothetically (although low probability), the Dutch begrudgingly complied. Those being that first of all, in the interest of self preservation, the amount of business people willing to stick their necks out for the geopolitical aspirations of their own governments in a way that harms China will drastically diminish. Secondly, this sends a seismic shift level of message to the world that China is now powerful enough to demand essentially blood sacrifice against any country that willingly and openly tries to harm China. Although, like I said, this hypothetical has a low probability rate of ever occurring. At least in the near to medium term.
