It’s like they look at examples of what other societies do to be successful and orderly and immediately think to themselves, “No, that can’t be correct. So it is no surprise that he is the NED's darling now after Anwar "betrayed" them. Anyway, Dr Mahathir has had beef with Anwar since the late 90s, so this kind of stupid statement is nothing new at all.
FMT is the more balanced alternative news in Malaysia. They tend to be more pro-Anwar, but also more balanced than the established pro-govt news media like The Star.
