Is that guy the professor who is in a "Taiwan funded "thinktank" " in a US univ?

Mario, interviewing such sources... is he antiCN?
He is famous on the Chinese internet for proclaiming that India will "soon" surpass China back in 2003. I think that was the moment when MSM started putting the spotlight on India as equal to China on the global stage. Basically a self-financed Jai Hind.

This type of media control and narrative is all driven by the US. They want to make it so that Japan Korea Philippines and India will all around and attack China in the Asia pacific and they need to influence domestic population to justify such military action

that way the US can lead from behind, causing damage to Chinese mainland while allowing allowing the their vassals to get damaged instead of themselves. Is a smart strategy, and the only one they have. The Koreans and Japanese an phillipinos are too controlled by the US to realize it. They also want china to be taken down a peg, back to what China was in the 1960s to 1980s.

Only way for China going forward is to keep the course, not get baited. Allow trump to suck the money from Korea and Japan, bleed them dry of funds that they have to invest in the US, destroy their corporate profits. Be overwhelming in military power. Become richer than them. Also just avoid visiting those countries. why give them money when they don’t want us there.
Usually the way it works in Korea when it comes to switching suzerainty is not their leadership reflection upon new geopolitical balance, comes to a decision it's time to jump ship and then make the switch. Rather the ruling leadership will at all cost stick with the old master and resist any change, and an internal rebellion happens and completely overthrows the old leadership. A new leadership with no link to old master is formed and then those guys make a clean break and declare for the new master.

It famously happened at the start of Ming Dynasty. Zhu Yuanzhang razed the Yuan capital to the ground in 1368 and declared the Ming Dynasty the same year, becoming Emperor Hongwu. In 1388, 20 years after Yuan was no more Goryeo was still declaring loyalty to Yuan and was even organising an invasion of Ming. The general they picked for this end up starting an uprising and instead used the invasion army to attack the capital Kaesong, overthrowing the Yuan-aligned Goryeo and creating his own new Ming-aligned Joseon Dynasty.

Similar things (though less dramatic) happened at the start of Qing as well. If this historical pattern holds you'll expect a change in the future back to China, but the event will not be bloodless. That's why you see the right wing in South Korea becoming more and more unhinged because they can feel their days are numbered.

Most likely a reference to the mass killings of suspected communists that occurred in Indonesia in the 1960's. These mass killings typically targeted ethnic Chinese or other minorities. There is a book that partly covers it called the "Jakarta Method" that covers this event and other similar events.
