Malaysia and Cambodia apparently agree to co-operate with US against China:

Low IQ countries with no power are not in a position to say no. So what happens is if they say no they get smacked by one side. Or if they say yes to working for one side, they will get smacked by the other side. That's all there is to it. They'll get crushed if they try to actually follow through on what might for now just be lip service to Trump. If they say no to Trump, they'll also be crushed. These middle countries just tend to get crushed no matter what, whether it be Ukraine, Korea (historically), Vietnam (historically), Afghanistan (historically), Netherlands, Lithuania, Poland (historically), etc.

I'm surprised there aren't more anti Americanism in these countries especially getting bullied like this and then taking it. This is the power of propaganda. They just feel like it's ok to sit back and take it, but if these deals make them sell less to the US, then in the future the US would have less economic leverage

I thought Malaysia was pretty friendly to china right now, so I doubt much will come of it.

Cambodia relies too much on China especially it's geography. I doubt they will be able to go against china much. It's like Mongolia trying to be anti china and anti Russia. Lol

that's not your concern, and it does not reflect well on the state of the west that everyone here can see you constantly resorting to this sort of ad hominem attack.

this is now at least the second time that, failing to address the original argument, you start probing your opposition's profile to mount a personal attack. whether or not your opposition lives in the west is simply not relevant to a theoretical discussion about the effects of immigration policies.

but just to humor you a little, you should maybe entertain the idea that it's not everyone's choice where they were born.
There is nothing much to respond because many people who post comment like the one I replied are just socially awkward kids (at least I hope because it would be extrememy embarassing if they are adults) with anime/video game addiction who spend all day long cooped up in a room while scrolling 30 second doom and gloom reels. FYI, there were far worse times in the west. In 90s, there was actual far right violence in Germany with apartments being burnt down and people being killed. People nowadays are mostly chill, even the far right types. Troublemaking MENA people are being deported these days. I work in engineering, I see people belonging to all sorts of backgrounds doing their job and going about their life and getting along with each other.

It‘s honestly not as half as bad. Just get out of your rooms and enjoy some fresh air.

This goes for most of the similar posts like that. When I read those, all I can see is that these are strange thoughts written by people who spend almost all of their days online and it‘s impossible to argue against made-up problems.

If my memory is correct, Michael Beckley is an expert of coping. He is the genius who argued that it's almost impossible for China to pursue armed reunification with Taiwan because of China's one-child policy, as though Taiwan's demographics were much better than China's. I won't waste one second to read what he writes.

Sure, sign me up, as long as the sanitation plumbing works.

Chinese people enjoy unprecedented prosperity. The Chinese diaspora "researcher": but at what cost? As though the U.S. is not a society full of degeneration (just compare the number of its prison inmates with China's) and is worth emulating.
To be fair, as the author of a book about China, Dan Wang has no choice but to criticize the Chinese system, otherwise his book would not get any promotion on the Western market.

Donald Trump is copying the wrong things from China, writes Dan Wang
