You guys give her too much credit; women like Chen are Malinche types, they don’t arrive at these conclusions themselves. They usually adopt the views of powerful men whom they are trying to win commitment and/or money/wealth, in this case white men living in Singapore or Japan who want Asia to remain the colonised fantasy for much of the 19th~20th centuries. you’ll see these types very active in the right wing space since a lot of thirsty white Anglo incels have been drawn to right wing politics in the past decade.

if we’re talking concessions when dealing with the Anglo Americans who fashion themselves as the papacy of the west, I believe China should demand the following as concessions:
- All US and western military presence to leave east Asia.
- All stolen art and treasures in western museums and private collections to be returned.
- All western nations must denuclearise with Chinese and Russian weapons inspectors to verify.
- As compensation all western national gold holdings will be stored in Hong Kong where western national governments will use as collateral to borrow RMB to purchase goods they need from China. Reminder how the U.S. screwed the early Republic of China by messing with the Chinese silver standard at the time.
- Australia and New Zealand to be governed by a special PLA military directorate with commissars in all levers of local government backed up by PAP and PLA auxiliaries.The ADF to be slaved to the PLA.
- alaska and Hawaii to be neutral zones under the jurisdiction of Chinese and Russian patrols.
- The entire state of California, washington state and the satrapy of Canada to be governed by CPC as Chinese concessions, similar to Australia and New Zealand, modelled after the foreign concessions of the late Qing period.
