Because the Chinese trucks are the ones hogging most of the market share ? I don't think India is being treated favourably here. If they threaten Kamaz and Ural as well, they'll probably also get banned. In any case, the current Chinese government has proven wise so they'll probably reach, or have already reached, a win-win consensus with Russia behind closed doors if this is indeed such a big issue.
The Russians just forced imported trucks to have ERA-GLONASS just like they used to before the sanctions. As simple as that.

The Budapest Memorandum doesn't provide security guarantee but only security assurance to Ukraine.

Why are you talking about Budapest. The original Istanbul negotiations include China as an security guarantor.

Great Britain, China, the Russian Federation , the United States , the French
Republic, (Republic of Belarus, Republic of Turkey), being the guarantors of the
security of Ukraine
as a permanently neutral state (Guarantor States), and Ukraine,
hereinafter referred to as the Parties,

I guarantee you will hear sometime in the future where someone will say to the effect that giving all this attention to the genocide in Gaza cheapens the genocide happening to Uighurs...

If you've heard... US politicians are pushing for a bill to be passed in Congress to fine something like $500 million per "act" of antisemitism on any social media platform that displays it. They control the mainstream media news sources but don't yet control social media platforms on the internet. Why do you think they're going after TikTok where it's not controlled by a Western entity? They'll fine Google and Apple instead hence will stop TikTok from being accessed through them unless it's sold to a Western entity they can control of course.

Look at how both Democrats and Republicans shill for Israel. Look at how easily US politicians can be bought. From the numbers being said from how many US politicians in Congress alone take money to protect Israel, something like a billion dollars at a time must be regularly spent on them alone. That proves how China isn't lobbying US politicians because that would be easy for China to do. When you control the narrative of both opposing parties, you basically are the one in power. Why do you think they want China to be a Western style democracy? It makes it a whole lot easier buying them off. Look at how easy it is for them to buy off Japan and South Korea. It only cost them the breaths it take to say, "I like you better than China."

China is not a threat because of aggression. China is a threat to them because it's not letting them have all the power over everyone and everything. When they don't have all the power, they feel insecure. China is a big question mark. The bigger the question mark, the bigger the fear of the unknown meaning they know they don't have total control. Do you see China getting paranoid because everyone is a question mark to China. Look at some of the discourse in this forum of this or that country even within BRICS being a question mark to China. Do you see Chinese peeing in their skirts because of it? So's who the one that shows unstable potential in this world creating chaos? It ain't China. China has always had to live with question marks around them something the West can't do when anything doesn't go their way.

It should not be surprising that the people who wanted all the power because they saw themselves as superior over everyone else also want all the power when they see themselves as the victim because that's the only way they can feel safe.

The Istanbul Communique was only a proposal(which China didn't have any inputs) of a framework, and it failed to come to any fruition. It proposed China (only as part of P5) to be a guarantor but China didn't volunteered nor accepted such request.

There is a great rick, burden and responsibility to be a security guarantor and for China to become one then it must involved itself in the negotiations process of any deals.

Oops.

Why the US has a higher nominal GDP than China, reason #1:

Why the US has a higher nominal GDP than China, reason #2 (this is also the reason why China's nominal GDP will overtake America''s sooner or later with renminbi/Chinese yuan appreciation, which is the longer term trend of RMB/CNY):

From the WSJ:

Send Harvard’s Chinese Students Home

It makes no sense for the U.S. to be educating the scientific and leadership class of a future adversary.

....
The government of Japan has designated four cities as official “hometowns” for residents of four African countries from Nigeria, Tanzania, Ghana and Mozambique, offering a special visa scheme. The concept is similar to “Chinatowns” or “Little Italys” in the United States.

According to this, India after their Rafaels were shot down, attempted to strike Pakistan using Israeli-made drones. Chinese equipment used by Pakistan thwarted India's drones. Were they shot down or did electronic warfare stop them? Were they larger military level drones or smaller Harpy/Shahed like suicided drones? Supposedly Pakistan shot a drone down during the first round which is why it's included in the downed aircraft score card. So did India attempt a Ukrainian War type drone strike? Sounds like maybe some sort of wide range jamming may have occurred.

A software developer has been sentenced to four years in prison for sabotaging his ex-employer's Windows network with custom malware and a kill switch that locked out employees when his account was disabled.
Davis Lu, 55, a Chinese national living legally in Houston, worked for an Ohio-based company, reportedly Eaton Corporation, from 2007 until his termination in 2019.
After a corporate restructuring and subsequent demotion in 2018, the

that Lu retaliated by embedding malicious code throughout the company's Windows production environment.
The malicious code included an infinite Java thread loop designed to overwhelm servers and crash production systems.
Lu also created a kill switch named "IsDLEnabledinAD" ("Is Davis Lu enabled in Active Directory") that would automatically lock all users out of their accounts if his account was disabled in Active Directory.
When his employment was terminated on September 9, 2019, and his account disabled, the kill switch activated, causing thousands of users to be locked out of their systems.

China has made it pretty clear about the role of the UN Security Council on the Ukraine matter back in 2022. It is also unlikely that China wouldn’t be aware of these discussions. With the no limit friendship with Russia along with the Chinese diplomatic effort in 2022 with Ukraine and Russia (separately).

China believes that the UN Security Council should play a constructive role in resolving the Ukraine issue, and give priority to regional peace and stability and the universal security of all countries. Actions taken by the Security Council should help cool the situation and facilitate diplomatic resolution rather than fueling tensions and causing further escalation.

State Councilor Wang Yi noted that as a permanent member of the UN Security Council and a responsible major country, China has always faithfully fulfilled its international obligations and played a constructive role in maintaining world peace and stability. When it comes to peace and security, China has the best record among major countries.
