Taking the enemy seriously is the solemn duty of any professional military. While we can laugh at the Indian military all we want. The PLA, by duty cannot do that. They must assume that their opponents are professionals, and that losses are part of the job. This is the kind of mindset that is needed to build a truly powerful military force.
Not taking the enemy seriously is what the Indian military routinely does. They have allowed politics and propaganda to get into their heads. Unlike the PLA, the Indian military had never fought from the position of the underdogs, actual or perceived. Even in 1962 and in 2020, the Indians had assumed that the PLA were pushovers. Under Modi, the Indian military is in at a shocking level of a lack of self reflection. That is why the Indian military had actually gone downhill despite procuring more modern equipment. It is the mindset, not the modernity of the military that wins conflicts.

Well, that this point, white boomers are effectively the only ones that could afford it on a regular basis. What's even more unbelievable is that North America accounts for a massive percentage of global beef production and some of the highest GDP per capita in the world, yet beef here is unaffordable for the masses. It's funny that MSM claims that beef is a luxury in China. It's projection as usual.
I remember dining in Copacabana district of Rio de Janeiro couple of years ago, where a proper steak meal for 2 together with fries, salad and 2 draft beers cost R$ 96, which is only ~$17 USD. And this is at a sports bar in the middle of the most touristy areas of Brazil. You can't even get a McDonald's meal for 2 at that price in Canada or the US.

Never take off your lifejacket upon putting it on immediately-I know from real life as a lifelong fisherman/boater and excellent swimmer I never underestimated the water's strength ,coldness or currents .BTWbeing something of a lifelong " prepper" I also have on my person a small survival belt kit/whistle in case of emergency especially outdoors,About 3-5 years ago a Chinese fishing vlogger from Markham drowned as a probably a rogue wave tossed him out of his boat and he wasn't wearing his lifejacket-sad he was too complacent and he couldn't swim to his boat/shore without a compass bearing -probably no deadman switch on motor and he drowned in cold Lake Ontario

This is difference between western faith based politics and classical monarchs like ancient China. Leaders are judged for their performance, no washing hand away. If life sucks, it is the emperor's fault. Not god telling me suffer is good.
