LoL! Of all the things these Jai Hinds want to tell their countrymen about how bad China is, they had to pick the trains. This is really peak entertainment.
And then someone posts the actual video and Indians are like WTF thats still better than first class here!
Maybe, but they should at least reduce the antagonistic tone.
10 years ago I purchased a similar ticket. Got a standing train ticket for a 90km trip for only 7 yuan ($1 USD) and it just felt like public transit. On a Shenyang to Beijing (~700km) line I saw some riders with the standing tickets. Typically they look like migrant workers going back to their hometowns. I think standing tickets are sold during peak times to allow people access to transportation. It doesn't look comfortable but they are price sensitive consumers. I found K train (regular non-highspeed trains) tickets with seats on that line for around $15, $25-30 for bunk beds and $40 for cabins. I can't imagine how cheap the non-seated ones are. You get the experience you pay for.In the video the Indian bought the cheapest train ticket in China during the peak of times and he was filming when people were getting on and off
They don't have real pride. They just want to find ways to hate on another place.LoL! Of all the things these Jai Hinds want to tell their countrymen about how bad China is, they had to pick the trains. This is really peak entertainment.
So this means that they are going to open the bridge anyway?Last week, the PWD formed a committee to find a solution in order to ensure safe movement of vehicles on the bridge.
Then why just suspend the engineers and blacklist their firms? What about these officials?Officials associated with the construction had argued that they had no other option but to build the bridge this way given the paucity of land and presence of a metro rail station nearby.
If a little extra land is made available, the 90-degree sharp turn can be converted into a curve, officials had said.
And here I thought Thailand's federal sytem is too bureaucratic.......India suspends 7 engineers for the 90-degree turn bridge "Engineering Marvel" in Bhopal. Again, they just blame the engineers, and not the people above them who ordered them to build it that way.

So now we get a glimpse of how construction planning works in India. The bridge has to tip toe around buildings, the train tracks, and the streets. Congrats to them. It truly is an engineering marvel! The engineers were able to squeeze a bridge around those obstacles, protected by lawfare.
