it takes about 2kg of plutonium to build a nuke. So, China just producing 4kg of plutonium a week is sad. If they were really serious, they can easily add a thousand nuke per year.

I am not sure whether you fully understand of the difficulty producing WgPu (not just plutonium). China has roughly estimated 3.5 tons of WgPu according to western estimate and 17 tones of weapon grade HEU. My guess is China has much more and has started producing more

Sounds like Western auto companies getting their foreign subsidiaries to complain.

The butt hertz will be relentless starting from now regarding Chinese EVs.

Once those Chinese EVs hit the market in a country, those consumers will not let it go.

Even Mr Farley the Ford CEO said he could not stop driving that Chinese EV (on American roads for research), because he enjoyed it so much.

Read a headline about a Huawei battery that can do 3000 kilometers. That is the distance from Toronto to Florida! Daynm!

So cute when people say the US waste time and money in the middle east instead of east asia. No, the middle east is only place you get a return on using the military, you slap around a helpless military with no allies, the losses are near zero, occupy some land or proxies, the world wows at the endless might of the United States and everyone gets a participation medal.

You send your military to east asia and all it does is getting into a staring contest with the toughest opponent you've ever face while praying to god that nothing happens.

Now, there's no predicting what someone as unpredictable as Trump will decide on, but when the entire military is incentivised to replay the easy fights, it'll keep returning to it even when no civilian wants it to happen. I say the chances are good on US involvement.
Yes, however, procrastinating and running away from its main challenger is only going to make America's fall more certain. No matter how many countries in the middle east are beaten up by the US, it has not done anything to quell China's challenge, and it is a very very time sensitive issue because China grows faster than the US at everything. The threat to American dominance is NOT in the middle east, no matter how fun it is and how good the optics can look there, so it is indeed wasting time to go there instead of Asia. However, it's likely also wasting time to go to Asia since by the looks of it, we are already at a point where the US doesn't know what it can do against China. America's basically going on vacation because he can't figure out how to do his actual job.

Of course Israel getting bombed problem is still there, not to mention the original invasion goal, so Israel will have to come up with an new narrative to pressure Trump to save them, we'll see what it is in the coming days. For now, the bigger a victory Trump declares, the more it means he wants to throw Israel out to dry.

Yeah, exactly, agree completely.

Trump is the number one guy, we cannot have someone like Natenyahu running loose. He acting on his own, embarrassed the top guy.

Now Trump has to act tough and do something to restore his street cred.

After the events of tonight, he can declare victory and that is it, he walks away. What happens next is up to those pathetic underlings.

It is remarkable that how stupid and backwards that whole entire region is.

Remember Saddam Hussein? After the first Gulf War, where papa Bush thought it was not a good idea to march on Baghdad, the son dubya finally did and toppled the regime. In those intervening years of no fly zones, Saddam did act erratically. Like he was trying to rebuild the military or something.

So when they finally took over the whole country, the US military search everywhere for the weapons of mass destruction they sure that Saddam was hiding, due to all that suspicious behaviour, in those intervening years, IIRC.

Well, they found nothing. They asked Saddam what was he doing, and apparently the conclusion he was faking that he had WMD.

Only that region can produce stories like this.

Iran this time was the punching bag for political reasons, between the master and the pupil. China is the punching bag for the Americans, their media and loud mouth politicians. Not to be out done, the Chinese have some Twitter ammo themselves. In Iran's case they were the punching bag for American made bombs.

At least this round is over.
