To be honest, even if Iran has S-400, HQ-9 or even J-10, what difference does it make when Mossad could destroy them on the ground with Spike ATGM? The fact that Russia readily provide S-400 systems to India, yet is hesitant to deliver even S-300 to Iran tell volumes. Recall that in 2024, the 3 S-300 Russia did provide to Iran were destroyed by Israel after internal software attack rendered them useless.

Also, hasn't Iran shown a multitude of AD systems on parades? What happened to their Raad, Bavar 373, Arman, Sayyad, Zubin air defense systems? It's evident that while Russia/China were hesitant with providing Iran with AD systems, they were quite open with providing Iran with underlying technological know-how.

The woman is Noor Pahlavi, eldest daughter of Reza Pahlavi, who would be the crown princess of the Iranian Empire, if they were still around.

What a great crowning achievement for her to secure the future of Iran by ensuring that the future Emperor of Iran, and their heirs, will all be white Americans.

That's what Iran has to look forward to if they surrender.

AD by themselves only buys you time, Israel has a blank check to the best western AD and they're still getting bombed left right center, Ukraine has been given countless Patriots and they're getting bombed just the same.

Unless Iran can afford a full suite of Chinese aerial assets, and I don't just mean what PAF has but much, much larger in quantity and scope, enough to fight for air dominance against what US gives to Israel and by extention USAF itself, investing more IADS will at most buy you an extra month before you run out, during and after which they'd have no ability to counterstrike.

Iran isn't symmetrical to Israel and AIPAC controlled US and shouldn't fight symmetrically. They should have invested much more in internal security and should have spent more effort securing alliances with China and Russia rather than trying to make peace with the west who wants them dead for religious reasons. But more IADS would have been a bad investment either way.

It's gonna take time but I think India getting it's ass kicked in Pakistan recently is really gonna show the effects in the future.

The west esp US put up with India coz they were hoping to use it against China. They even prevented Pakistan from using it's US jets which would have gave India an unfair advantage. Yet India still got it's ass whooped hard thanks to Chinese weaponry and Pakistan preparation which gave both a lot of clout. And in typical response, instead of accepting responsibility, India and the west started blaming each other which further hurt relations.

We know the west esp the US is very corporate minded and get really angry if you fail to do your task as an employee and can easily get rid of you. India was assigned a task and failed to deliver despite significant investment. The US is just gonna cut bad investments rather than act encouraging and thats why you see the level of respect given to India is suddenly a lot less recently. At the workplace, thats an indirect way of saying that you're being forced out and they're working on replacing you. Hence trying to get someone like Vietnam etc who is seen so far as more competent. Relations can go from 100 to 0 in a very fast timeframe.

Thats probably also why the US is more focused on Iran right now. Any plans to take on China involving India or even Pakistan went up in smoke for the time being. Now they need to find somewhere else and Iran fits the target.

The irony of all this is that if the US politically abandons India at some point, that actually opens up a lot of opportunities for China to gain influence.

U.S. cancels talks with Russia: Moscow
Washington canceled the planned Russia-U.S. meeting aimed at eliminating irritants in bilateral relations, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova said Monday.

"We hope that the pause they took will not be too long," Zakharova said.

The meeting is part of ongoing diplomatic efforts to ease tensions and resolve embassy-related issues, following earlier rounds in Istanbul.

The United States has yet to give a reason for the cancellation.

Geopolitical tensions roiled the opening of the Paris Air Show on Monday as French authorities sealed off Israeli weapons industry booths amid the conflicts in Iran and Gaza, a move that Israel condemned as "outrageous".

‘Donald is right’ and China is the problem, EU chief says

Beijing’s subsidies should be a reason to work together, not tariff each other, Ursula von der Leyen argues.
KANANASKIS, Alberta — European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen on Monday tried to find common ground with Donald Trump by criticizing China's export restrictions on raw materials used for cars, batteries and wind turbines.
During a session on the global economy at the G7 summit in Kananaskis, Canada, von der Leyen slammed Beijing for disrupting global trade by

, according to an EU readout of the event. The chief of the EU executive accused China of “weaponizing” its leading position in producing and refining critical raw materials, and of ignoring global trade rules to undercut competitors.
“On this point, Donald is right — there is a serious problem,” von der Leyen added, encouraging the U.S. president to join forces with his allies to address China’s trade imbalances, rather than impose tariffs on his allies.

Brussels has tried for months to convince Trump not to target the EU in his trade war, arguing that cooperation on China’s industrial policy
is the best way to secure an even trade playing field and attempting to flatter and cajole the American president into withdrawing his punishing levies.
China has focused on "undercutting intellectual property protections, massive subsidies with the aim to dominate global manufacturing and supply chains. This is not market competition — it is distortion with intent,” von der Leyen said.
The Commission chief warned against what she called “a new China shock,” accusing Beijing of flooding global markets with cheap state-subsidized products, and urged G7 countries to tackle its dominance in the raw materials sector.

Von der Leyen brought a prop to the meeting: a permanent magnet, which is crucial to Europe's central industries, such as car and wind turbine production.
