The most expensive and critical part of his product is the chainmail part at the bottom. He looked for a US based supplier and the only one he found is too expensive and could supply only 2000 units a month. But he didn't want to use Chinese suppliers so instead he found an Indian supplier. When the "Indian" shipment arrived it turned out to be just drop-shipped items from a Chinese supplier.
Makes wonder if that whole build in apple in India really just importing mostly finished products from China, tightening the screws and calling it made in India. I know people said its assembly not made but there is even less value added services than I imagined.Dude spends some time indirectly ranting about almost everything being made in China. He set out on a mission to produce and market a grill scrubber with everything 100% made in USA.
At around 36 mins, he finds out that America still could not produce enough chainmail for his grill scrubbers. So he orders more chainmail from India. He orders them from an Indian dealer. When he receives them, he finds that those chainmails were actually drop-shipped directly from China. So he fumes, barely containing his rage. Lol!
Trying to set out to manufacture things within your own nation is not wrong. That's a good endeavor. But if you're trying to be political about it, then I'm gonna laugh at you when your political message blows up in your face.
India still has the full bill for approximately 15.5 billion USD for 36(-3 of course) and recently 26 Rafale M-but I sense alot of buyer's remorse and a growing sense of wanting to jaihind default on the monies owed.It will be very funny and serves the French /Indians right.
Indians are really diving into the bull. They’re resorting to speaking for the Chinese people that they don’t want Beijing to allow Pakistan to buy the J-35 because they haven’t paid for their J-10s. Just goes to show how fearful they are of Pakistan getting stealth fighters at all. The first comment from the channel already stating it’s no joke knowing what’s obvious.

Dude's advertising pitch is still incomplete. He is not the only guy in town who produces BBQ scrubbers that don't use metal bristles. He also makes the claim that his product is of much higher quality and will last many more years compared to "cheap ones" (China implied) when in fact the whole part that decides the quality, which is the chainmail (the part that gets brushed off and worn out over time) is literally from China. The rest of it is just injection moulded plastic used to hold chainmail in place and a metal handle.
Nah, from this whole drop shipping shenanigans. I would imagine that the casing being laser polished in India with the apple logo is as far as the made in India iPhone will go, can’t even trust tightening screws. Still part of the assembly by all accounts.Makes wonder if that whole build in apple in India really just importing mostly finished products from China, tightening the screws and calling it made in India. Fashion retailer Shein and partner Reliance Retail plan to rapidly expand their Indian supplier base and start international sales of India-made Shein-branded clothes within six to 12 months, said two people with knowledge of the matter.
The China-founded, Singapore-headquartered Shein has been discussing plans with the Indian retailer since before the U.S. imposed tariffs on Chinese imports that intensified the need to diversify sourcing, the people said. The aim is to raise Indian suppliers to 1,000 from 150 within a year, they said.
In a statement to Reuters, Shein said its partnership with Reliance was limited to the licensing of its brand to Reliance Retail for Indian domestic consumption only. Reliance did not respond to queries.
Shein told Yicai today that media reports claiming the global online fashion retailer and its partner Reliance Retail intend to expand their supplier base in India to 1,000 from 150 within a year are inaccurate, stating that no such plan exists.
If India really does a Jai Hind default on its Rafale orders. I'm going to open a nice bottle of French wine. Viva la Macron!India still has the full bill for approximately 15.5 billion USD for 36(-3 of course) and recently 26 Rafale M-but I sense alot of buyer's remorse and a growing sense of wanting to jaihind default on the monies owed.It will be very funny and serves the French /Indians right.![]()
Yes. That's what Make In India actually is in a nutshell. Anything more complex than mugs, pots and pans, and I struggle to find Made in India on the shelves. I doubt that that lassi blender from India is truly 100% Made in India.Makes wonder if that whole build in apple in India really just importing mostly finished products from China, tightening the screws and calling it made in India. ...The Stargate UAE project, a major AI initiative backed by US tech firms, is facing delays due to unresolved US security reviews and export control conditions, according to reports from Reuters and Wccftech. The concerns center on potential technology leakage to China, despite the UAE's commitment to comply with US national security requirements
Talks between the US and China kicked off in London, with the US signaling a willingness to remove restrictions on exports in exchange for assurances that China is easing limits on rare earth shipments.
