I'm going to assume you're not saying someone's selling tresuries in anticipation of stock market rout...
So are you suggesting it was actually China's theoretical sale that prompted Japan to sell which in turn forced Trump to capitulate? That China just looked at its treasury holding and that was enough for Trump to fold?

Lastly yeah I don't think Trump cares about Congress right now.
No, I'm saying that certain funds and institutional investors in Japan saw the risk of a rout on US treasures and decided to sell before this happened. That set off an even greater rout because of the usual cascade effect in financial instruments.

Trump blinked because a rout in US treasures, at a time when tons of people in positions of power within the US were already complaining about his tariffs, was too much. It fit his personality and political tactics to claim quick victories when he's pressured so that he can appear like he's still "winning," since his psychology does not allow him to ever "lose." In doing so, however, he's put the US in a worse negotiating position, because now the US's partners know that its tolerance for pain is low.

And why did they think there would be a rout in tresuries, if tresuries should normally move inverse to stocks as a safter asset?

Also Trump didnt actually claim he's winning, he directly said on camera he did it because people were "getting the yips" and "afraid" and "queasy" from bond market, which sure sounds like he not happy about people forcing him to fold.

In other words, if he had a plan, he just lost and he knows it

I must correct you on 1 thing: it is not just Trump that needs to appear to "win" all the time. this is the core of Germanic Winnology Theory. If its not Trump it will be someone else.

Hmm. It seems that Shanghai is doing well despite low GDP per Capita lower than Mississippi . Could this mean GDP Per Capita isn't an effective metric as its just a number on screen (nominal even goes up and down like the stock market for Turkey)? Or the US has overinflated its scores?

No its China that is wrong.

This is something I noticed. Despite westoids claiming to be free thinkers, they always assume their system and their metrics are absolute. That if something is contradictory its not them who is wrong but others. How is this any different from the Church back in the day screeching when people started realizing what they told was BS? Yeah man, I'm totally sure Ireland with its Leprechaun economics is the third richest place in the world.

Just remember not too long ago they also said Chinese could never study well, communism would never work or that liberal democracy is the end of time system.
The westoids have also said that the Chinese written ideograhic language was a hindrance to China's further tech development or advanced society(got books in my library still saying so!).....now Chinese language has actually benefited brain development, pattern recognition, memory. And now with electronics/software the Chinese language has readily adapted/grew.

Treasuries selling in anticipation of a rout is just having economic sense. I don’t think Japan forced Trump to do anything - they don’t have that power - but Trump proved to be weaker politically than anticipated and feared a bonds rout would put him in the cross hairs of a Congressional rebellion since Congress was already not happy with him dictating trade. Japan just happened to be a major player in that rout along with various other holders.
Japan operates within this historic system and any large funds movement will have coordination. Japan simply does not have extensive visibility to inside of Global North or even majority of Global South. Post Covid Japan is even weaker. Demographics is your topic.
when Georgia start drifting towards to Europe. Arab showed up and People like Saakashvili are in jail. and now Arabs have arrived with investments in Armenia. this is to provide stability so Russia can concentrate on Ukraine.
Earlier that CNN Arabic Covid vaccine exchange story of Israel-Syria that i posted was some one (Gulf Monarchies) showing displeasure for Russia support to that Syrian regime. I mean Soviet failed and Russia was continuing get involved with countries that lack soft power. you have to read alot of things to get that conclusion who has the in-depth scientific knowledge.

Roszdravnadzor has banned private clinics from vaccinating Russians with the Pfizer/BioNTech

COVID-19 vaccine

The supervisory authority declared the use of the Pfizer vaccine in Russia illegal; import of drugs that have not undergone state registration in the Russian Federation is prohibited. Therefore, Russians who signed up for vaccination with this American-German development on the so-called "waiting list" will most likely not receive it

The agency sent an official request to Rospotrebnadzor about whether private clinics in the Russian Federation, including the official branch of this Israeli hospital in the Skolkovo medical cluster, can use foreign vaccines such as Pfizer/BioNTech. The answer was categorical: “In accordance with current legislation, the import into the territory of the Russian Federation and the use of vaccines for the prevention of the new coronavirus infection that have not undergone state registration in Russia is prohibited
