Trump says he’s raising tariffs on China to 125% and reducing tariffs on other countries to 10% for 90 days.

I am amazed at how quickly some think that the USA has out played China based on shit like this. Really, none of this changes the fact that China produced everything the USA needs and the fact that US manufacturing needs decades to be brought back to have any kind of an effect. As of now, the US economy based on the debt levels and current levels of unemployment due to all the firings is still in the dumpster, he is only making these moves now because he is losing, not because he is winning.
Also why are YouTubers like this moron and Asmondgold are riding up and down on Trumps shaft like a bunch of unashamed hookers while pretending to understand geopolitics because as far as I know, none of these people possess any skill in economics or any real understanding of the big picture in general (then again, they are from the USA so I guess patriotic shaft sucking is expected)

This is unprecedented. Trump just handed for free a huge win to China.

In front of the entire world, China forced the US to back down in such a public and humiliating way. Not backed down directly against China, but backed down against the rest of the world because the US couldn't handle China alone

Pure demonstration of hard power. When you are playing at the global chessboard, sometimes you need to stake your flag and willingly fight till the end. This is such a global demonstration of power, America has lost a lot of prestige and legitimacy
He admitted that his country won't survive a total cutoff. He's betting on China letting him keep a semblance of normalcy in these 90 days (which going by track record will be infinitely extended) by rerouting goods to US. It would be a mistake to allow the wounded snake a chance to live normally for another 90 days.

China needs to keep the momentum going, hit US with such outrageous punishments in the next round that it will either break them or force Trump to stop the flow of Chinese goods and as such commit suicide again.

Taxing all US multinational company and blacklisting more of them will do it, probably.

There is a corollary to this trade war spat-It shows that China isn't afraid of a true hot either if it's forced on her by USA(hoping it NEVER happens)-China will have the determination, weapons and the tactics/strategy to win.Despite the silence ,this unspoken subtle/important message resonated loud and clear-make no mistake.Kudos China-Kudos. :) :) :)

Some credit is also due for others like the EU even though there response were more meek.

Looks bad for the other developed economic countries that were already on a plane to kiss some ass like s korea

Oil is only about 1% of the US economy though, but perhaps a oil-sector crisis could still have some massive ripples throughout an economy already dealing with serious headwinds.
It is among the highest paid largest industry. so Tax revenue impact is big and just reduce market value of energy prices decrease GDP and exports. you can already see the impact. US Exports to EU (the largest energy customers) are stagnating for nearly decade.

It is all MAGA slop you see on X. Everything is 4d chess. Some bot repeats the same garbage over and over. Reminds me of the stupid "Q" cult. The scary part is you have influential maga people involved with it. Its like a weird feedback between x-slop->techbros/polticians->executive branch->x-slop

Kinda funny is that the rest of reddit has suddenly become pro-/neutral-China. I saw some x post that said r/china has become pro-china lol

No. China doesnt want to outright kill them. If it really wanted to, it has almost a dozen nuclear-level cards to play than the simple tariff card.

Ideally, US dies a slow death or just gets rolled into a retirement home to live for its last days.

This play was good enough for now to demonstrate to the world the inevitability of China's rise and US' decline while also dealing a huge inflation/economic, diplomatic, reputational, geopolitical/geoeconomic blow to US which will cripple them in all these areas

Taking down the US will be a long process, no need to hurry
