issue is China is developing faster than they can ever rebuilt so that strategy will backfire

getting to AGI first was their last final hail mary, but China has the ultimate rugpull on that too, as even the Eric Google dude was recently forced to admit

That can still be blocked thho, maybe build tsmc most advanced fab inside mainland cn.

I think this demonstrates that unless the money bags of the oligarchs are impacted, they will ignore any potentially revolutionary event happening across the Pacific. There is no hope when power resides in the hands of these people. It’s like comparing two failing students — India at least feels bad when it fails tests and America doesn’t feel bad till daddy finds out and spanks him.
