Does anyone know the max. trench crossing length and max. vertical obstacle height for Italy's Centauro B1? All I can find is:
Překročivost: 1,2 m
Výstupnost: 0,55 m
Brodivost: 1,5 m

Gaz: 1,5 m
Savlađuje vertikalnu prepreku: 0,55 m
Savlađuje rov: 1,2 m

And as you may guess, I am illiterate in Slavic languages. (Czech in the first bunch, Yugoslavian (Don't know the exact name, don't think it is what isthvan speaks either?) is the 2nd set, I think.)

They are old satellite images... New up to date satellite images are quite expensive but companies sell older images at lower prices... Some of images at google earth are few years old...

Thank you Zraver.

BTW, around in California all the weather folk aka weathermen use doppler radar systems that can measure windspeed accurately (whether or not the weather people are lying to me is up to debate, and several jokes I might add...). Aside from that, if a doppler radar can detect gusts of wind, shouldn't it be able to detect a supersonic stealth aircraft. I'm sure it would be quite noticeable if you see a gust of wind moving a mach 2 in atmosphere.

Austrailia already claims it can track the B-2's over Texas with its over the horizon rader by tracking the air behind it. I don't know if this can be done in real time fast enough to allow an intercept but you can definately find the ingress/egress routes this way.

Of cours efew nations have the type of 100%coverage pulse doppler digitized radars this requires let alone the massive over the horizion radars.

To DarkEminence

you also have to understand that the OTH radar in Australia has a ridiculously long wavelength. Things like this are totally unsuited for target acquisition.
