I was trained in Milan and Spike. Milan cost about 50k whereas Spike I heard cost about 150k, but that was in the 90s. The firing post could easily cost more than $1m.

CARTE intakes are used in aircraft not designed for speeds much higher than Mach 2 (air pressure problems past Mach 2) and thus they are more simpler than the ramps present in Concordes and Eagles. They essentially let excess air "bleed" out the side. DSIs are a bump in the fuselage and diverts the low velocity air (due to boundary layer against the fuselage.) away from the air intake. These two intake types operate over similar range of airspeeds and conditions. (Any faster and you pretty much need to go back to the ramp.)
The DSI is in general a much better design because a bump is easier to maintain than a bunch of bleed-gates. Why did F-18 and 22 have CARTE? Because the JSF is new....! DSI testing didn't really come along until 1996 in America.

VT1 is a version of MBT-2000 - MBT2000 is a modular tank design/system, able to change into whatever the customer wants.

Does China has clone copy of Tor M1 missile?

Normally, China would clone the equivalent once they have a copy.

what do you mean by clone? the question is, do the Chinese need to clone anything today? at the worst, it is a Chinese copy with Chinese improvements.

Xian, I think it is the HQ-7. Not A or B variants based on the number of rings on the tube. Newer variants seem to have 6 rings, older ones have 5.

Now my question, probably no one here knows but what's the development stage of the CSU-152 tank?
