I know PLA had those 20 years ago, are they still in operation?

Vietnamese had experienced these knives, lots of them were drilled by PLA during Sino-Vietnam war. But I didn't heard any thing from PLA about how effective these knives are.

Nice pictures! I doubt those bayonets are still in service. They replaced them with the shorter, multi-purpose attachable knives. It is interesting to see it being fitted on a submachine gun, but useless as they should have pistols for close-quarter combat.

Any more info on the knife with yellow band around its handle? It looks like a kukri, a special knife equipped by the Nepalese army.
