Mexico/Brazil as a potential counterweight to the US?

I heard that out of all the Latin countries, they look down at Mexicans the most because they are seen as more mixed with native Indians. One time I mentioned this to an Ivy-educated white man who didn't know because of a somewhat similar discussion was taking place and there was a Peruvian/Mexican colleague in the room and she agreed and mentioned her mother who is Mexican resented other Latins for it.

A lot of countries just like Asian countries are deluded in believing they're closer to being white than the other guy. I find the ones that say it out loud... don't look white at all. Singer Demi Lovato had a passive aggressive way of declaring she was white where she tweeted she was ashamed that her people were committing police brutality on African-American people. Or another singer Camila Cabello where her past pre-fame racist tweets came back to haunt her. She's Cuban and she only saw Cubans being white and everyone else as inferior including Mexicans. They both look Mexican.

It has be because of Western colonialism where they want to deceive people into thinking they're white to pacify and use them and everywhere they go around the world they tell the people, "Hey, it's you and me against everyone else." That way every else hates each other while no one hates whites and that's how the world seems to be like. It does happen because you see during this attention on anti-Asian violence. You have white people complaining that they're getting all the attention on anti-Asian violence when you see in videos of these attack minorities doing the attacking and then when African-Americans are seen being the victim of white racism plenty of times you see people in the media trying to drive attention on Asian racism.

There seems to be a concerted effort to get everyone to get at each other's throats so that they don't join up together.

Countries like Argentina and Uruguay are ethnically South European so look down on Mexicans who are more indigenous. On the other hand, Mexicans look down on all South Americans because they are poorer than Mexicans. Even within Mexico you've got ethnic hierarchy where the commoners are darker skinned compared to the lighter skinned European descendants. This hierarchy persists when they migrate to America - so the lighter skinned are disproportionally seen in Hollywood whereas the darker ones are more likely to mow your lawn.

Latin America is a strange place.

Instead of these people looking down at each other and feeling superior, they should start building their economy and focus on themselves.

But, but, but, the democracy!
Useless. These countries need a hardcore centralised power, then they need a strong person on top to gradually reform the country, and then eventually change to their beloved Democratic system after the system has strong foundations

The Singapore way

But remember that Singapore is culturally Confucian and has a Chinese majority, although there are significant other minorities.
And part of that Confucian heritage is the idea of communal harmony, equality and prosperity for all.

It doesn't always turn out that way, but they try and mostly succeed

The Anglo americans use their CIA as the largest drug cartel of the americas to keep latin american countries weak, divided and in a state of soft civil war so as to prevent the rise of a latin American awakening; why are they so scared of Cuba and other independent latins? Precisely because of another Mao coming along doing to latin america what Mao did for China.

@Abominable bro maybe Religion is a factor? all of them are Catholics. If you see how the Spanish use religion as a tool to colonized that region is the same here in the Philippine, If you're not baptized then your a Pagan, you're movement is restricted cause you're a threat to their rule therefore conversion is a must. The Binondo Chinatown is a ghetto within the range of the canon of Fort Santiago, the Chinese mestizo look down on their fellow Chinese with the locals doing the same even though they are on the same page socially believing since they're Catholics they are better than the "Instik" ( a derogatory term given to us Chinese a Nigger).

Singapore does what is economical and strategic to them regardless of its Chinese origin. they side with US when it is expedient to them. Lack moral ethics and betray Confucianism.

Off topic. this web is for Mexico/South America is it not?

The Latin American left has potential, but Mexico has less potential because its economy is heavily intertwined with the US economy. Brazil would have potential if it were led by a left-wing populist, but not the current president.

China itself is also pretty practical and side with the USA when it is expedient for China.
So your point is?

We've already come to the conclusion that Mexico/Brazil have very little chance of becoming effective counterpoints to the USA
