Littoral Combat Ships (LCS)

Torpedo Tubes? ...
without knowing any details, I would think a Mk 32 SVTT was shown in the model where I put the red ellipse now:

Oh I see now... wait a sec...
Okay my bad this is Actually the Saudi version it has torpedos.

I was looking for a model of the Freedom FF and this is what I found labeled as such I had to check again.

Funny feeling if this or any version of the frigate comes into service that actually works foreign dales will follow I know the Saudis backed out due to cost but if ends up being the new frigate then they may just rethink the deal because cost will come down due to number of ships involved I'm assuming around 20+just for the USN

well, it would be good to be able to kill a sub ... and I don't know what a ship without a VLS (to shoot ASROCs) or at least torpedo tubes (I said 'at least', I know the range of light-weight torpedoes is only about ten miles max. or so) would do IF anything happened to the helo (I know the Independence LCS subclass may have two helos but I don't want to go back to its "recently proposed modification") ... maybe there're some options included in ASW Module (?)

On that I say 99.6% of the people on this forum can agree whether the or what kind of ship equipment it all falls apart at but the current ship (when not broken down) is a complete and utter joke when it comes comes to fighting peer like adversaries and it's the previous regimes fault from the top in down including politicians
Agree and for USN/DOD choices no comments

But the more embarrasing is the last 5 classes occured problems ! San Antonio now fixed i have say also too sophisticated, 2 LCS classes severals whose propulsion major problem, Zumwalt propulsion minor and gun ! and Ford not the ship himself, while the previous ones Spruance, Ticonderoga, Perry had given satisfaction so there are things to solve.

The Tico and Perry's gave it all our navy has always had major issues with smaller ships such as frigates they fall in love with the big ones such as carriers big crusers. Subs and stuff like that

Can you precise your point please o_O

Perry have 2 advantages very cheaper, 51 build + 46 Knox USN hadenough for escort convoys eventualy used for reinforced TFs and Perry versatile with MK-13 ofc a FFG not a DDG for power but a true Frigate of 1st rank.

Sure the Perry's were in service for 30 years some saw combat in the first Persian gulf war and were always on duty seldom did we hear about breakdowns. or being outgunned or underarmedunderarms the Ticos goes without saying as we still have 11 in service Now let's compare if ya want LCS under armed multiple breakdowns always in the news Zumwalt so expensive only 3 made again breaks down on maiden voyage and can you name me 1 navy ship since WW2 under 4000 tons (combatant)
