I prefer to have a hard copy lol... and download would use up bandwidth O_O

Oh well, it sounds like server issues meant it would've been difficult to play anyway, by the time I get my copy blizzard will hopefully have sorted out their stuff.

...And the place I was buying from was like forty bucks cheaper than other places so yea

Apparently a group of Koreans finished the game 6 hours after it has been released.

just found out about the guest pass today, so anyone willing to share you'll have my thanks

i decide to give some time before i purchase this game, some said it's pretty good, and some say ok, and some is outright disappointed

and reviews are nowhere to be found, guess they are going to finish inferno first before giving out a full review, as it is how the game is meant to be played

Just beat the game, well at least normal. Overall, its definitely a better game in ever aspect than D2, though the skill tree seemed liked they simplified it too much. At its core its still a simple hack and slash, but they did manage to update the game with mechanics they learned from WoW. It's a fun game and I would highly recommend anyone who liked the first two to buy this! However, perhaps its my age, or maybe I've been spoiled by WoW, but they game doesn't seem as entertaining as WoW and probably won't be playing it in 6months. Particularly in Raiding, as there really is not any true class roles other than DPS, DPS and more DPS.

Yea me too. Overall I think the system and the game itself is awesome and nothing to complain about. I never played WoW so I won't know how it's like, but having multiple skills, interesting story, and a lot of new things that makes it radically different from D2 but still very impressive and fun.
I can sense D3 gonna make more than just its sales alone simply because of auction house.

better than D2 should be great, would you guys give D3 that? (in4ser did)

i'm fine if D3 is just an updated D2, but i'll hate it if its D2 in WoW's skin
comparison with WoW in single player mode is probably too early, i figure Blizzard would have lots of co-op/team features planned out

but then again i have barely time to play like a MMO

After 3rd of 4th day into the game, I've completed Nightmare and am in Hell already. Apparently 2 things I've learned about this game would be:

1. When you're in Hell, don't run back to town with your enemies chasing you even if they're 50 times stronger than you. I did just that and turns out they can follow you back into the town. I thought i can get away and save my skin, but not only they caught up with me, but also killed me in my base, then killed my other teammates, THEN SAT at the spawn waiting for us to respawn only to kill us again. We couldn't get rid of them at all to the point we actually ran inside Cain's house (yes he's got himself a property now) to hide. Apparently even demons hate senior homes, because none of them shows up inside. Anyways, after a while we decided to try again, which we failed again. We ended up having to quit the game entirely just for those 3 demons.

2. For bosses, having someone who continue stuns it while the rest of the team cut it down is the best way. It just distracts them enough that you get the final end-product of the boss sitting there like a fool while you guys vent your daily life anger on it. It doesn't matter if it's nightmare or normal(didn't try hell so im not sure), because it still works like a charm. Oh and of course for entertainment value, you can always give the boss something or someone to hold onto while the rest of you guys do the work so the idiot who got picked by the boss looks just as stupid, if not more because he's being the only one getting owned and molested while this is what the others are doing to the molestor. For this example, I was the unfortunate chosen one. The boss picked me out of all choices available and started breathing his breath in my face for the entire 5 minutes the others are killing him. Now I understand why one must let go in a relationship..because it's just making both sides look stupid.
