Block III will be able to operate PL-15E, that's a given and is confirmed.

3x MFDs is fine for Block III; if anything the original JF-17 MFD configuration and design was actually fairly competitive and future proof.

Aircraft like J-10B/C and F-16V have a similar configuration for their cockpit displays (the almost identical same in the case of J-10B/C), and carrying over the same future proof cockpit design helps to reduce development time and reduce need for more testing.
They have quite a bit of screen real estate to work with already, so changing to a single wide screen isn't that important.

More important are the upgrades in mission computers and processing which I'm sure the Block III will be much more capable than Blocks I/II in.

Any one have any idea on the mission computer upgrades? The videos of the original JF17A's cockpit looked laggy when they were originally shown. You are right, maybe they have fixed those issues in Block III..

We've never had any imagery of JF-17 Block I displays within an actual aircraft in operation before to judge, and I doubt "laggy screens" are an issue, because screens only show data that's been processed.

When I talk about processing and mission computers I'm talking about things like sensor fusion, high bandwidth networking, etc. Those aren't things that will necessarily make your screen look "smoother" or "faster".

FC-1C Thunder for Argentina: Current Proposal.

By Marcelo R. Cimino Argondizzo

Although these days, all the lights are focused on the second-hand F-16s protected by the United States. The Chinese proposal regarding the FC-1C/JF-17, not only remains in force but also boasts in the manifests, being the one that more than meets all the technical - operational and weapon requirements. However, it raises some uncertainty regarding its logistical projection and life cycle sustainability.

I thought Argentina had given up on the purchase?

Elvira!

Cuban-sourced American politicians are always the zealots.
Absolutely true. I've noticed that these people, even the ones who still speak with a heavy Spanish accept are often the biggest imbeciles, zealots and Ameriturds I've ever seen, both politicians and regular people. It's like they're overcompensating for something by having absolutely no respect for their own race and no consideration of America oppressing fellow Cubans and other Latinos.

Sabino Vaca Narvaja, Argentina’s ambassador to China, held a meeting with Argentine Defence Minister Jorge Taiana in Buenos Aires recently to discuss plans to cooperate with Beijing on defence, according to a Weibo post by the country’s embassy on Tuesday.

The plan could see Argentina procure JF-17 aircraft along with 8x8 armoured vehicles made by China North Industries Corporation (Norinco) to “meet the needs of the Argentine military to maintain unity and stability”, the embassy said.
