Aselsan Aselpod confirmed for use on NAF JF-17:

View attachment 72431

Care to explain, where this is shown or even mentioned? The video is more than 2 hours long and at least by a quick search I saw none under a JF-17 nor in the text ... and your second image proves nothing since it is a cut&paste of a pod + a PAF JF-17.

Did you even click on the video fitted with a timestamp where a Nigerian fighter pilot clearly mentioned 'Aselpod' during the JF-17 presentation to the Nigerian minister of defense?

It is just a low res image of the Aselpod for those who don't know what it looks like.

You seem a bit out of shape lately @Deino... You seem to not want to click on links provided by members, not only on this forum but also at other forums which results in wrong conclusions by your end ;)

This kind of behavior is not worthy of a mod IMO.

I think that which subsystem is used on the Jf-17 is dependent on who the exporter is. If the exporter is China, then they’ll go for Chinese subsystems like how Myanmar opted for Chinese ejection seats instead of Martin Baker. Pakistan handled the export to Nigeria, so we can expect to see non-Chinese components on the aircraft.

I doubt Argentina will ever get any JF-17s.

Argentina is one of the few countries the UK actively sees as a threat, and the British have been actively lobbying to stop them acquiring virtually any aircraft. Even Russia have been reluctant to sell them anything.

Pakistan is an ex colony and even China has strong economic ties to the UK. It probably won't be worth the hassle for what will likely be a small order from a country with a poor credit record.

The UK is allowed to encircle China with the rest of the Five Eyes but China can’t export fighters to a country that isn’t even on the US export ban list? Besides, a dozen JF-17s don’t really change the equation. Brits still have overwhelming advantage in the air.

Since when have their rules been consistent?

If anyone does try to block this sale though, it would probably be the US.

They don't even want Huawei selling 5G there let alone military equipment.

Again, that vide has a duration of more than two hours and I did not see a timestamp, therefore I asked.

Otherwise mixing topics and making fun as if a stupid mistake disqualifies me to act as a moderator only shows your true intention.

Therefore again; could you please tell me at what time this is noted? At least admit that the pod is only mentioned but not shown as in your faked image.

Western hypocrisy...

The Brits are paranoid about Argentina. I guess the memories of HMS Sheffield are still vivid. If China actually came close to selling them JF-17s I'm sure some sort of backdoor agreement would be made with the Chinese government.

It happened with Americans, the French, even the Russians. Their local rival Brazil make an aircraft locally (I forget which one) and even that was somehow blocked.

British lobbying has been very successful - Argentina probably has the worst air force in the world right now.

I don't know if you are serious or trolling. The vid automatically jumps to the right segment. It's embedded in its url.

You are literally repeating the same mistakes over and over again. It really reflects badly on you being an international mod. Especially as you are also a 'pro' writer on certain defense matters.
