I think the work "production" is incorrect.

So, it seems that after production of 50th Block II JF-17, PAC shall be producing 16 aircraft for MAF and Block III production should commence thereafter. So, I am assuming that we shall see JF-17 Block III in later half of 2018.

Personally this is what I think

PAC will complete Block II in 2017
Pause before they retool for Block III like they did in 2014 where nothing was built prior to Block II

During this pause they will build export orders

Then 2019 before switching to Block III

We have already seen 'Ruby' birds under construction, so the MAF order is already coming along. Even with retooling pause & all, I think we shall see Block III in 2018. If anything, Block III are desperately needed and PAF then needs to shift focus to 5 Gen and F-16 replacements. Therefore sooner the Block III induction, the better.

I have to admit, the JF-17 is a pretty bird. She passes the eye test.

That is a nice pic. JF-17 looks good from most angles but not from the sides.

Definitely looks Chick from all sides except side pose. I wish that bulky side pose can be addressed some how. Just an innocent wish
