At the very very end of this the OP posted the image we’re currently talking about. It’s in Chinese tho, also generally don’t take the posts in there too seriously

Hoooooly sheeeeet! From reading the link you posted, I just realized that I don't live too far away from that airfield! I can always hear the fighters' thundering noise in my bedroom. When I peak outside my bedroom window when the loud noise came, if the weather permits, I can sometimes see the low flying flankers, it's always the flankers' elegant body that I see, nothing else.

Also when I was younger, if I went to another room or one of the bedrooms, I could actually see the planes, immediately after they took off. Now, the view is blocked by newly risen residential buildings. I didn't know that a few of the recent slightly more frequent plane noises I heard are actually from the test flights of J-35!

Damn, I actually hear one right now when I am writing this post, it's been going for 15 minutes!!!!!

Sorry for the babbling, guys! I just feel exhilarated and honored that I've been witnessing the evolution of China's most advanced fighter aircrafts since I was 9-year-old.

I believe SAC has a small museum on their factory grounds (not that you'll be able to see what's in the actual factory) that's worth checking out if you haven't already. They have a small collection of planes including a J-11BS (static testing airframe if I'm not mistaken) and a FC-31 V2.0 (appraently also a static testing airframe), and some historical pieces in the building. You may need to book a visit in advance tho due to COVID

Thank you so much for the information! I will definitely check it out now that I know it is THAT museum, it would be an amazing and enriching experience. Frankly, I drove past the front gate all the time, it's just too NORMAL for me to think anything big of it. I heard the sound probably 10 minutes ago again, they do be testing a lot recently, and I like it.

Also, I was wrong. The newly risen residential buildings are only obstructive in my bedroom window. The view from the bathroom and another bedroom is still unobstructed for me to watch the planes right after they took off. Only if I don't have a life so I would be able to sit in front of the bedroom/bathroom windows all day:p.....

Set up a tripod with a super high resolution camera, and record the view outside the window.
