31001 was the real raptor, Same tails and everything. I dunno why people associate it with F-35 when it was more of a F-22

back of their mind it came out against F35, and China prime stealth fighter in F22 league is
J20 may be that’s the reason another notion can be china want the second stealth fighter
primarily for Naval use

Also because of superficial and general points of resemblance, such as flip-forward canopy, the choice of 3 sided cowl for the DSI, the swept vertical stab, etc. Relatively naïve observations, clearly not from people who actually have knowledge of aerodynamics and low observability.
