For special occasions like military parade where a lot of civilians are present they are always going to use more mature and reliable engines.

Let me tell people something. I heard about China selling J-10s to Pakistan from early 2010s, but it didn't happen until 10 years later. So my point is to not listen to what you read on Pakistani news or social media.
China will likely sell J-35AE to Pakistan at a good price at some point, but it won't be 50% discount. That's just wild rumor
We all know that eventually it will happen. The real news is when. Until we can get some clear indication of timelines everything else is fluff.
