Where do you think he got that figure from?

Half of the time he just quotes some dubious source the other half he takes numbers/info out of context from more credible posters and adds in a ample amount of nationalism.

As for the SAC factory capacity number he claimed there is some truth to it as the new factory recently opened but there isn't any official numbers neither is it confirmed if the new factory will be 100 percent dedicated to J-35s.

AI is so annoying! Second guessing EVERYTHING one comes accross. And you can't NOT second guess yourself... It just slows down the discovery process to the point of near paralysis! I mean, as a species going forward, how are we expected to have ANY sense of reality if everything is fair game for manipulation?

Sorry if ranting, but I fell for these pictures and was just thinking "no, those are good - just a higher resolution video" when I scrolled down and saw the AI mod confirmation.

Unfortunately, almost every new smartphones now comes with AI built in for their photography. The AI quietly enhance your photo without you even knowing unless you know how to switch it off through camera settings in your smartphone.

Does it mean 5th batch and no 81 planes? does it means at least there are 81 of those? honestly I am a bit surprised if there are already 81 J-35

Presumably 8/1 as in the founding date of PLA.

As @Wrought explained it is not the 81st J-35 but more a symbolic bort number. According to my information, the H-number can be read as H1105081 and not as HI I 05081:

1st digit: T (type of aircraft) = J-35 a jet-powered fighter/fighter bomber/multirole

2nd and 3rd digit: RU (role and/or unit) = 10th Naval Aviation Brigade / Naval Aviation Division

4th and 5th digit: sub-unit (dadui?) = 5th Dadui / flight group and the "0" is still a bit undecided ... maybe operational status

6th and 7th digit: bort-number = 81
