I think the question of whether it can carry bombs is a pointless discussion. Given the J-35/A's IWB dimensions, the PLAAF could absolutely make it happen if they wanted to. But here's the real issue—why would we waste relatively precious manned stealth fighters on such missions? Doesn't it make more sense to let non-stealth manned aircraft or stealth UCAVs handle these tasks? They'd offer far better cost-effectiveness.
