Yeah I prefer these nozzles infinite times more than the J-35A ones. Larger serrations are just cleaner.Two more.

Why carry bombs? The question should be can it carry ground attack missiles.
To bomb things. Gravity is free, and guidance is turning stupidly cheap.
Rocket engines do not.
Not against advanced countries like Japan with strong AD.
Even strong AD can be overloaded. Israel is a recent example.
Although this is Pic from FC-31 j35/a should be able to carry atleast 4 500kg bombs internally or more cause of the changes to the fc-31 to the j35
I think the question of whether it can carry bombs is a pointless discussion. Given the J-35/A's IWB dimensions, the PLAAF could absolutely make it happen if they wanted to. But here's the real issue—why would we waste relatively precious manned stealth fighters on such missions? Doesn't it make more sense to let non-stealth manned aircraft or stealth UCAVs handle these tasks? They'd offer far better cost-effectiveness.

Oh, my bad—I forgot that for an air force with limited budgets, this capability actually holds significant value. Given the J-35’s export-oriented nature, it’s almost certain that the design would account for such requirements from potential buyers.
