What is the range of the J-35 compared to J-20 and F-35? I read that its bigger in size than F-35, so even if it has 2 engines, it might have more range? What the current estimate?

I think these are J-35s, not J-35As.

What is the difference between the J-35 and the J-35a?

The J-35 is for the PLAN (carrier-based), whereas the J-35A is for the PLAAF (land-based).

The J-35 has noticeably larger wings than the J-35A.

The rear roots of the J-35's wings intersect/overlap with the front roots of its horizontal stabilizers, whereas the rear roots of the J-35A's wings are separated from the front roots of its horizontal stabilizers.

The J-35 has a dual-wheel front landing gear, whereas the J-35A only has a single-wheel front landing gear.

The J-35's rudders run along the entire rear length of its vertical stabilizers, whereas the J-35A's rudders only run about 90% of the entire rear length of its vertical stabilizers.
