Is it me or does J-35's skin not seem as smooth as we thought. F-35's coating in comparison seems much more smooth with gaps all covered by tape.

Also what are those lines that runs down the radome on J-35? F-35 does not seem to have them.

I'll bet that those J-35 airframes are early LRIP birds that aren't in frontline service. Lacks a final coat too probably.

They went ham with the size of the H serial. They probably read Deino's complaint about them not being visible enough sometimes :cool:


Yes, And even if actually, it was to be expected - even if I am known to be more than careful - that more than just the three J-35s of the PLAN Naval Aviation shown so far are already in service ... here now, as with the J-15T, they show us several!

And it looks sooo good.
