Another good news is, it seems that this time the government dont want to hide it from the public anymore, after successful maiden flight it will leak the pics of this thing through at least some semi-official channels like the way we saw J-10B, so we will get some very clear shots of this thing very very soon (this year or the beginning of next year).

(In contrast, no PLAAF higher-ups, let along commanders, or the boss of Chinese NASA, let along the ex-bosses who have retired many years ago, visisted CAC months before the maiden flight of J-10B).

All signs suggesting the fighter is near ready, which is also indirectly confirmed the words around the BBS where suggesting the fighter is now in land test phase (which means, usually, weeks away from maiden flight).
