What? "Don't ask, just believe"? I'd need more than what's circulating now to really believe.
And last year there was also a PLAAF general who said China would be very bringing out its 4th generation fighter "very soon" and that it woudl be a true 4th (or 5th if you're western) gen fighter... PLAAF general on CCTV>random unquoted professor.
For all doubters -- do yourself a favour and just believe it this time, you'll save yourself a lot of angst later. K thanks bye.

Most of stealth aircraft vertical tail wing are of this angle, no only J-20, the difference is the tilt angle in degrees of each stealth aircraft vertical tail wing, the tilt angle degrees of J-20 vertical tail wing is more close to F-117, the others no thing like F-117.

When you are even remotely familiar with this magic software package branded as "PhotoShop" you would have already known how difficult it would have been to create doctored pictures of the supposed same damn thing from different angles of view through PhotoShop.
You know, learn some ABC about PhotoShop and stop wasting our time like this OK?
When there are pictures of this fighter from different angles of views keep poped-up everyday, the likelihood the fighter is PSed is converged to 0.
And I dont even talk about the hundreds if not thousands of eye witness around CAC everyday who have seen the fighter, if you know Chinese, you would have already know now major military-fan BBS like CJDBY or FYJS even orginizes online-live-text-show of the taxi run of the fighter through their senior members and site mods lives at Chengdu city, pay a visist to Fyjs.cn or Cjdby.net to check their Chinese-text-based live show of the fighter.
So save us time OK, we really get tired of this "this is PSed blah blah" story, believe me, we have saw more than enough PSed jobs/interent hoaxs to know this one is a real deal.

Design
The general design concept of the J-XX is that of a fifth generation fighter which incorporates stealth, supercruise, super-maneuverability and short take-off capabilities, abbreviated "4S".[16] One or more of the proposed designs are believed to incorporate several design features for increasing stealth and maneuverability while decreasing weight and drag.
A V-shaped pelikan tail could be implemented, replacing conventional vertical tail fins and horizontal stabiliser structures. This would be beneficial for reduction of radar signature, weight and aerodynamic drag, since control surface area and corresponding control mechanisms are reduced. Problems faced by this type of design are flight control system complexity and control surface loading. If the pelikan tail is adopted, use of engines with thrust vector control may alleviate these problems.[17]
The new fighter may have a significantly longer fuselage than other fifth generation fighter designs, such as the F-22, for reduction of transonic and supersonic drag.[18] A trapezoidal wing may be implemented for reduction of drag and radar signature.[19] Use of an 's'-shaped air inlet and boundary layer separation system would greatly reduce radar signature.[20]

According to the eye witness at Fyjs.cn, the fighter looks more slim, especially the part around cocktail, than these shown in the pictures taken.
Overall the fighter looks much better than these shown in the pictures (which, according to the eye witness, looks distorted by make it looks shorter and "fatter" than it acctually is).
As for the length of the fighter, different eye witness has different estimation, varies from as low as 17 meter to as high as 23 meter.
But for some reason, the height of the fighter is lower than J-10, althrough should be considerably longer.

As so many witnesses there, some fanboy PS also could be easily picked out. The situation for others who cant read Chinese is another story, all they could see is some blurred small photos mix with some fanboy PS, skepticism is understandable.
I think language barrier is the reason why some foreign military fans have difficulty with telling some fanboy PS from real photos.
