Although, my talk of tradition was made with a humorous intent. My question was a genuine one to understand how versatile J-20 multirole ground attack capability is at the moment.

If you want to ask about J-20's versatility that's fine, but the topic itself is so done to death that it's no longer humorous, it's just a bloody waste of time. I'm going to delete your question and everyone else's response including my own -- if you want to ask about J-20's versatility then don't try to be cute, just ask it genuinely please.

Since, there is a twin seater J-20 in the pipeline, could that be more focused on ground attack, interdiction role?

No, the strike role for a fighter sized aircraft can be done with a single pilot, you don't need a second pilot for that. Even for bombers, arguably the need for a second copilot isn't as vital as it once was.

The twin seater J-20's role will likely be for enhanced battle management/control purposes, and its weapons bay is almost certainly the same dimensions as the single seater so it's not like it has a greater weapons capacity.

One of Project Leader from State-owned AECC Group Disclosed(00:27) that the WS-15 Aero engine Now in Mass Production during His Speech in a Material Contest Presentations..

i think he is talking about small scale production. but nevertheless this is a massive update.

Basically material used for WS-10 and WS-15 are no longer subject to change (tech freeze) but same cannot be said for WS-19 yet.

As per 萌虎鲸 we will see a J-20 prototype flying with both WS-15 engines this year, so no surprise really.

Will the J-20 with two WS-15s officially become J-20B (with that canopy rear hump), or still just the re-engined J-20A?

Another milestone worth waiting for. Finally we are getting closer to the complete version of the J-20!

I believe it would be the humpbacked J-20B. The aerodynamics are probably optimized for the engine switch as well.
