Agreed, but to let this being published under the title of the USAF University is a shame.

I actually think the assessment is fair — if it was written between 2011 and 2014. Trying to argue that the J-20 is a demonstrator is disingenuous when there are twenty aircraft in service with many more using domestic engines.

It's from an interview with the pilot... and Top Gun is mindlessly stupid and unentertaining. Maybe its fans love it for the homoerotic undertones only ;)

Yeah I know it's an interview. Come on cut me some slack lol

This pilot is the coolest dude ever, he gets to fly the "mighty dragon", and his name is 白龙which literally means "White Dragon". What a fitting name for a fighter pilot.

Indeed it's pretty cool of this guy, I remember back in 2015? he mentioned his dream was to pilot J-20 someday during an interview, back then he was flying J-16.

And in 2017? he had another interview about how the dream came true:cool:

Anyone want a laugh?? ;)

Here's quite a strange link published by the USAF university:

... with a most "interesting" o_O analogy and strange conclusion:

Well ... what relevance do have some historical examples from Argentina, Egypt, and India with China's ability to build stealth fighters??And I'm indeed shocked  since this is really written by someone working for the USAF University!? ...

It reminds me to a tweet I saw some weeks ago from the US Naval institute.

Pure pity that they fell to such a low level. :(

Deino, you are not American, so you may not have known that American 'higher' education – especially liberal arts disciplines – has long ago descended into an absolute farce. We now have legions of crackpots whose Dunning–Kruger is exacerbated by their expensive but worthless liberal arts education. It's sad but true: it's more productive to wipe your ass with a liberal arts diploma when taking a bathroom break from digging holes than to actually spend four years to 'earn' the said diploma, because you will then have actually accomplished something by digging holes, defecating and wiping your ass, not to mention be free from a mountain of student loans.

End off-topic rant.

Yeah I've seen it up close during my time at university. The professors are more focused on brainwashing the students with far left politics instead of teaching. The same thing is also happening in public secondary schools all across the West.
