Just how many J-20s are there? The number of fighters and other weapons in service within PLA seems to be always shrouded in mystery. Just watched Binkov's (by the way, Binkov is a Chinese residing in Canada, he's not Russian) video on a potential war scenario between China and the US, and he seems to give very outdated numbers for China. He said there're 40 J-20, 20 KJ-500, 140 J-16, 300 J-10A/S, and 115 J-11. Only the J-16 number seems to be roughly the same from what I gathered (148), while all the others are severely inaccurate. There should be around 50 J-20, 36 KJ-500, nearly 500 J-10 (with roughly 200 J-10 B/C), and about 300+ J-11.

The sock puppet with a Russian accent? I think many youtubers are out there to profit than have real infomation. There is definitely a market and big money selling to the military fanboys just by seeing the millions of garbage videos when you try to search for anything.

A pilot with just about 100 hours flight time on a "new modified fighter jet" managed to score a zero to 17 kills during air to air exercises.

It's not just one pilot, it is him and his wing men. Since the aircraft mentioned is a newly equipped aircraft by the Wang Hai Brigade it most certainly is the J-20. However, there are debates on CJDBY as to whether they were carrying luneberg lenses when the mock combat occurred.

Just FYI, there are several notorious names that are not trusted in this forum, Pinkov is one of them, another is Minnie Chan. If you know them long enough, you know who they are.

really makes me wonder, given this exchange rate, what is the point of continuing production of J16? It is almost like throwing money away?
