TNI is mass media, though, so I thought Blitzo might appreciate the idea that he's becoming more influential as a theorist.

Max range of the PL-15 is unknown, and would remain unknown. Rumors claim that it's 200 km, other rumors claim it's only 150km.

China's J-20 stealth fighter doesn't have a gun. That could be a problem for the Chinese air force.

Observers of the twin-engine stealth fighter long had speculated that the J-20 lacks a cannon. Photography of J-20s since the type's first flight in January 2011 hadn't revealed bulges or openings that might point to an internal gun. The J-20 hadn't appeared in public carrying an external gun pod.

Are you being sarcastic? First quoting David axe, second saying he is on top of things ..?
What can even be said about this substantive critique?

I might quote anyone who has something relevant to say. And yes, recently The National Interest has apparently had timely coverage of J-20 developments, as noted here and on the previous page.

On a different note, the Combat Aircraft article attributes the gun information to Li Gang, which is, as far as I know, incorrect.

I think he's saying that David Axe is typically not "on top of things" (i.e.: up to date) not to mention his interpretation of new developments tend to be considered illogical or poor at best.... therefore he is confused that you would offer David Axe anything resembling praise.
