J - 16, J - 20 's pilot · Chen Jun' s grandfather is Air Force first grade hero who shot down and damaged eight US military planes during the Korean War, former Beijing Army Air Force Command · Liu Yudi. A bit similar?
What a progress from J-7 to J-20. Love looking at the old photos. From grandfather to grand son guarding China's sky

J-16、J-20のパイロット・陳瀏の外祖父は朝鮮戦争で8機の米軍機を撃墜・損傷した空軍一級戦闘英雄、元北京軍区空軍司令・劉玉堤である。ちょっと似てる?

It's an exercise that provides data, which is useful simply by virtue of being data. As far as depth information goes, I've shown that it's possible to extract depth information simply when the dimensions of an object is known. Some photographer you are. I'd hate to see your Instagram or Flickr.

1) I would like to see you actually do this exercise instead of just gloating about it. Put up or shut up.
2) Ever heard of garbage in garbage out? Data is never useful simply by virtue of being data. Its use is in what it tells you. If it doesn’t tell you much or it tells you the wrong thing it’s not useful. A poorly calibrated telescope doesn’t tell you anything about astronomy. A poorly calibrated weight doesn’t tell you anything about your fitness. You sound so desperate to have something for show you don’t even care what it’s showing.
3) Yeah my skepticism of how useful the data you can generate with a method you’ve invented to try to win an internet debate is speaks volumes about me as a photographer.
4) Drop it. This line of discussion stopped being productive a while ago.

Inst, give it a rest !

To extract from a cut & pasted gif you never can deduct any useful information esp. on turn-radius, g-force or whatever. We don't know how many frames/images are missing, if the time of the gif equals the real-time even or is different.

Come on ... it's just as impossible as trying to deduct from a single grainy image that the J-20 is flying already with a +210 kN WS-15 as some eye-balling-experts try to tell.

Here's a full-resolution version. Much clearer view of the WS-10X engines.

And one more newly released old photo to celebrate J-20's 7th birthday.

This is purely a point on vanity, but I was really hoping the WS-10 wouldn’t slot in as awkwardly in the J-20’s nacelle as the Al-31. It looks even more awkward o_O
