Yes, everyone in China walks around naked in the streets and urinates anywhere they want...

Seriously, the sketch is clearly an artistic exaggeration with a hint of sarcasm. Everyone knows that.

It's not the first time I've seen this in such exaggerated illustrations, and therefore comes the natural question of whether it's commonplace or not.

F35 2017 year production rate is 66. Next year, they will crank it out to 140 for 2018.
That will put alot of pressure on CAC, it's current yearly product rate of 20 looks very skinny. Gotta to crank them like hot cakes.

Ditch traditional production method and use current method "water flowing" where each worker only assembled a little and pass it to the next.

You mean, "pulse-line" assembly? Pretty sure CAC has that in mind for the J-20.

The remaining bottlenecks would be the WS-10X engine and its future WS-15.

From Henri K blog
Plant 132 (Chengdu Aircraft Industrial Group, CAC) has delivered "a lot more aircraft" than in previous years, according to an official statement.

Still no "Winchester" for the J-20? lots and lots of rivets,,, those wing juncture features create quite a little vortex activity all by themselves, he's slow and full slat deployment to create additional lift for maneuvering!
