Are we sure that's a DT?

The wingtip looks more like a standard pylon than the ESM pod, and it looks like a single cockpit rather than tandem cockpit.. but maybe it's just me

Yes, the IRST is definitely there, which is the most definitive differentiator in that image.

Looks like a standard J-15T to me.

They did make a J-15T variant with WS-10s. Prototype 1518:


Will it be mass produce is a different question.

(Although, take it with a heavy grain of salt, I have heard they'll push WS-10 J-15Ts into serial LRIP as early as this year. But that won't be until the latter half of this year, and that's the most optimistic estimate with weak confidence)

Why is that? I believe they have their reasons for doing so, since AL-31F have a longer history for sea launches than WS-10s
