Seven J-15 can be seen. The 7th aircraft is largely hidden far away but if you enlarge the photo and check the far side of island, you can see a vertical tail fin.

According to mil.news.sina.com.cn, there were six J15 fully loaded with missiles for practice run on touch and go and also on the use of arresting wires.

Well, I see six. It is impossible to say if there is one behind the island...but the other six are clear...and this is the most we have seen to date.

What some think might be the vertical stabilizer by the island of a seventh, is in fact the folded tip of the horizontal stabilizer of that aircraft.

I don't think we can find an object of this shape on flight deck other than the vertical tail fin of an aircraft. This is located near the rear lift.
