Two-seater J-15? Too small and grainy for me to reliably tell if this photo is genuine.
Yes but that is an old image show one of The prototypes at the CFTE.

I am nitpicking, but why aren't they using red light in the hangar?
Well of course they can. But not if they want to comduct take-off operations.
They could be spotted there while landing numerous aircraft...but if they wanted to have aircraft take off, they would have to be moved from those positions an a STOBAR carrier like the Liaoning.
Here's is another angle of those same aircraft parked like that which makes the point:
During joing landing and takeoff operations, the aircraft would be spotter behind the forward take off positions and along the island and then aft of the island on that side. This would allow aircraft to land on the angled deck, and also take off from the bow.
