But why "has entered the service with PLAAF Cangzhou Flight Training Base (S/N 78x1x?)"? By the info I read, the first ones were seen around Shantou area.

Does Shantou also operate the J-10S? In the series of photos published by CCTV, there was a J-10S spotted along with two J-10Cs.

So far it is not clear. By my estimation - actually my stomach tells me this - it is the 25th at Shantou/Waisha and yes, this unit allegedly also uses J-10AS.
So IMO it would fit, however all J-10 unit has a few J-10AS ... @huitong suggests this unit as the 170th Air Brigade at PLAAF Cangzhou Flight Training Base, but I don't known.

From the caption of the image: 近日,空军某飞行训练基地某团组织数架战机携带火箭弹、航炮等多种弹药,对两个靶场目标进行攻击。
BTW, the landscape definitely does not look like southern China.
