J-10 Thread IV

Has the J-10 accident been reported by anything official? Minnie Chan sourced does not mean it didn't happen. Don't recall J-10 having any FCS related accidents and only bird strikes or engine failures. Not exactly unbelievable that the AL-31 has been the reason for another accident.

You really need to wonder what kind of Kool aid the likes of Minnie Chan are drinking.

On the on hand she is making a meal of the claim that one of the dead pilots flew during the national day parade, and yet still wants to play pathetic games by toeing the western party line that Chinese pilots lacks training and experience.

Also, the claim that many American military pilots have lots of experience in the civilian world before enlisting doesn’t wash either. Not unless she is talking about the likes of the air cadets programmes, where underage children are given the opportunity to try in military planes as part of their overall military recruitment drive. But that’s hardly civilian flying experience. So that makes me seriously doubt the credibility of her ‘military sources’.

Also, her claim of flight controls being a possible cause seems to based entirely on the J15 crash, which is only a completely different F’ing aircraft.

You really need to wonder what kind of nepotism is going on that idiots like her haven’t been fired or at least replaced with the catalogue of basic errors she is making.

Good thing journalism is the only ‘profession’ where zero professional qualifications or basic entry standards apply, as she would be been kicked out of any actual professional body long again with her track record.

But is it real? The JF-17 04 on its side at least is a mock up only and here I'm also not sure.

The flight demonstrator on the left still has the "spin chute" attach brackets attached.... which shouldn't surprise anyone as its given to "flight test", I don't see any sign of those in the picture on the right, not even any holes, shadows, or other evidence they have been there??

Hi,

I think she is referring to " weekend warriors----The National Guard---"---.

I once had a general manager who was an F16 pilot for the national guard---.

You have absolutely nailed it here my friend, navigation and general airmanship translate very well, flying hours add experience, and experience brings confidence and competence...... 90% of fighter flying is navigation and airmanship, and having hours in any complex aircraft add up to that becoming second nature.
