Take with mountain of salt but based on posts from our sister forum, AVIC is pushing J-10C sales in Indonesia.
What's our sister forum?
Indonesia has officially ordered a total of 42 Rafale fighter jets from France, but has not yet received all of them. The first six Rafales are expected to be delivered to Indonesia in February 2026..
so this is the perfect time to pitch J-10C.. they can cancel or maybe reduce Rafale orders. but AVIC has to convince them.

Nobody's gonna wanna do both types (Indian acquisition of a hodgepodge of random foriegn aircraft is the joke of the aviation world) although we can do a trade-in and get a couple of Rafales to play with...
Is this even legally possible or in fact cancelling a contract right before delivery would probably incur a big sum of fine
There is a huge number of Bangladesh J-10C X tweets as well. Of course, the Egypt ones.
Bangladesh and Egypt are interested in J-10C even before this event..
Funniest ones are the Iranians. Lots of them on Twitter dissed J-10 as crap (to be fair they did have bad experience with J-7 in the 80s) but are now mad about picking Su-35.
