The first number usually denotes the production batch - so here a batch 2 or 02 - whereas the last two numbers are for the individual number within that batch ... so here no. 14.
From batch 01 we know that this was up to no. 55.

Thanks Deino, so we can say at least 55 + 14 = 69 J-10B/C already flying ?

How can we tell whether the plane is J-10B or J-10C ?

With 82 yet a Rgt equiped and very possible yet or soon a second, mixed with J-10C maybe.

Deino, how a Frontline Rgt is organized ?
Presumably depends type coz not same number for a Rgt with Su-30MKK or one with J-7 by example, 18 and 28.
In several Sqns, Flights and what quantity ?
