Here a J-10C 131. Brigade + JG-500B LGB

I originally stated that there I only saw one video for J-10 releasing a LGB. I think there is a reason that so many videos exist of PLAAF firing rockets but not guided air to ground munition. Rockets can be fired when the aircraft is close to the ground. This means that ground based cameras can catch it in action easier and the result is also more “impressive” looking for non-aviation enthusiasts.

I’m pretty sure the PLAAF have very specific rules on what official pictures can and cannot contain in relations to stores and weapons. That’s why the overwhelming majority of high quality official pictures all show fighters clean or carrying unguided munitions or basic Air Superiority load outs. Some of it will be for opsec, but there will also be a political element as China doesn’t want to flex its modern firepower too hard, especially when it comes to offensive weaponry and capabilities.

From personal experience, I have seen JH7s flying out in the wild in China with significant warloads. Couldn’t tell what they were exactly as the distance was too great, but they for sure weren’t drop tanks, AAMs or rocket pods.
