Israeli preparing for 'all out' war (Ground Invasion)

Where was the source of that bit of titbit?

Tis why I was asking. I seen it posted about and was wondering is there any proof of it. The accusation has been made and I seen these rockets being fired on video. What weapon in China's inventory could this be? They look like weapons made for guerilla warefare which China does not need. I don't think Hamas or Iran are lacking in innovated people that could construct these simple unguided rockets on their own. Westerners tend to believe that everyone else is just plain dumb which is why so much stuff surprisingly bites them back in a costly way. Someone accused these are WS-1s. If true this is still a large weapon to smuggle in. So why not smuggle in some more effective weapons. Hezbollah has shown that Israel has something to contend with. If they can smuggle a WS-1 size weapon, they can smuggle the same weapons that Israel had so much trouble with against Hezbollah.

okay well if they wanna use ws-1's then they prolly wont even have to smuggle them into gaza.

well it looks like hamas has been tuning in to the radio. they have just refused the terms of cease fire. clearly they are catching onto the global anti-war sentiment. they are obviously trying to flame anti-israel sentiments though that may not work out well in certain places such as the US

What were the terms of the cease fire? Is there some online text of it available?

It is a phased ceasefire; Israel will phase in a unilateral ceasefire, and then gauge Hamas' response. If Hamas continues to launch rockets and attack Israel, the Israelis will resume their attack.

So when Hamas says it won't "accept" Israeli soldiers, is it going to continue fighting or is it just sulking that the ceasefire isn't on its terms?

If Hamas still has any fight in them, then the former.

If they are clearly demoralized and down, then the latter.

Sounds like Hamas trying to buy time. The only way to defeat an enemy is, when they show weakness, to bore in and finish them off. All this "cease fire" guarantees is years more conflict, and billions of US taxpayer dollars wasted on killing people rather than actually making lives better. And so, sadly, the cycle goes on.
Wouldn't it be fascinating if Israel in conjunction with some Arab and European nations simply declared Palestine an independent state whether they like it or not, and then told them they are expected to behave like a responsible nation. I wonder if my tax money would buy more rebuilding Palestine than it now buys destroying it.

Well Hamas has already broken the ceasefire by firing rockets into Israel. So what, it's going to only stop when Israeli troops withdraw? That's a very cynical and dangerous game because that means Israel would been seen to have been driven out.

I really hope Hamas doesn't keep pushing this because otherwise it's going to lead to a lot more people dying. There's no guarantee that after Israel withdrew Hamas wouldn't kick this off again and all those hard-won positions would have been lost.

EDIT: It now seems they have agreed to a ceasefire if Israel withdraws its troops within a week. That's a rather tight deadline given Israel will want a negotiated conclusion before it does that completely. Again, why is Hamas playing with fire like this?
