Iraqi army is a total shambles

Better of just training monkeys

How many billions wasted??? How much investment went into them ??

Asking Iraqi army to defend a place is like asking a bank robber to guard a bank !

Leaked US DOD assessment from over a year ago is now making its rounds on the internet. Certainly ties the current administration to the formation of IS in Syria & Iraq and the genesis of today's chaos in the region (my sober view of the information, not a judgement -- anyone offended please actually read the DOD Report). Following is a short article and then a link to the report itself:

So their source for this is examiner and its source is Judicial Watch? I will believe this report when Santa and the Easter Bunny show up on my doorstep.

How does it even make sense for those deserters to abandon those armored Humvees while fleeing? It's not like those are slow vehicles that require training to operate.

Good question however in Iraq, the situation is not what it seems. Most times they just shed their uniforms and just blend into the local populace. They don't abandoned and run for the hills lol.

What examiner? The only 'examiner' is in your own post.

The information is from

-- a group known for its investigation of government corruption and abuse -- had obtained more than 100 pages of classified documents from both the US Department of Defense and the State Department through a federal lawsuit.

...not CNN.

The disturbing part is
The DIA report also predicted that ISIS would declare a caliphate through its affiliation with other terrorist organizations in Iraq and Syria, including members of what the Obama administration terms "core al-Qaida" to differentiate it from offshoots such as al-Qaida in the Arabian Peninsula.

"Core Al-Qaida" is a misnomer, The Obama admin uses to try and create the Illusion that the Administration's policies are some how isolating and depopulating AQ. Fact is this is old news.

Did you bother to read the report itself? Did you look into Judicial Watch and the legal filing (an open & public record activity) made to obtain the documents? I can't fathom an honest yes from you and still see that reply. Some people will never believe water is wet I suppose...

To loose that many would mean they lost a deport where the vehicles were stored.

Most Iraqi foot soldiers probably didn't even know they were there, which would be a terrible shame if some of them were taken prisonior by IS because they couldn't get transport out.

In addition, Humvees are hardly fuel efficient, and some may have had to be abandoned if in the chaos and confusion of a full retreat/rout, supply tankers were not readily available.
