There officers and officials used the past tense to indicate it was built, ready for tests then a few years late they ran “Taxi rolls” and again they were called out.

Sure, I already said that the video is not proof of anything so there's no reason to try to argue about ways it would not be regarded as proof, but once again, it shows a drone flying nearly directly above the US ships while Trump claims one was shot down as it got 900 m close. Shoot down a drone 900m away but ignore this one as it's overhead? That already makes US claims look fishy. But once again, it's not proof, just suggestive. Continuing to argue how it's not solid proof is pointless, especially when the US offers nothing at all as even suggestive evidence.

I would like to see these videos and photos with Iranian claims of the Q-313 being ready. If they claimed they were working on it, that's not a lie. If they claim that it's combat-ready, that's a lie. It's not nearly as frequent as Trump's lies, but you at least got 1 there, if you can prove it.

Iranians wanted to be paid in cash so you think that translates to it being used for "no good"? That's hilarious!! And you're the one talking about evidence not being solid proof? It literally means nothing that they want to be paid in cash; that's like police finding condoms on a woman and concluding that it means she's a prostitute! If I were Iranian, I'd want to be paid in cash too, because money in accounts can be frozen by the US if it goes back on its word; physical cash cannot.

Whether or not I like Trump is not the point; the point is, the man lies like a person falling down the stairs. I'm calling out less than a percent of all his lies (there are actual American sites that count them meticulously) and it's already far more than anyone could say of Iran in a decade. And now you're (correctly) adding incompetence to the bill. Well if the US president is a liar sometimes and too incompetent to know the truth other times, that's really not a vote of confidence in his words, is it? Iran is still obviously far more trustworthy (and competent).

Honestly this is not nearly as complicated as you make it out to be. We don't have to analyze videos on likelihoods, we don't have to talk about how often Trump or Iran has made false statements, we don't have to talk about how drones might react differently to jamming. All we need to do is use objective logic.

When India said it downed a Pakistani F-16, but provided no evidence, we assumed it was false.

When Pakistan said it downed an Indian Su-30MKI, but provided no evidence, we assume it was false.

When X said it downed a Y, but provided no evidence, we assume it was false.

When the US said it downed an Iranian drone but provided no evidence, we assume it is..... fill in the blank.

It's really that simple.

Might I point out that 900 yards 1000 yards 1000 meters what ever version you like is still relevant if said distance is counted from altitude.
The video shows clearly magnified images not a few feet from the deck but at some altitude above. The footage we saw is also some distance out. In fact we see helicopters flying away from the Boxer. But it doesn’t appear to actually show the Drone directly overhead. Magnified from a distance but not directly and as the footage does end we don’t know what happened next.
It could have closed far closer demanding a reaction.

Really??? 900 meters counts vertical distance? Is that normal? I don't think so. When a carrier says an aircraft is coming in for landing, 20 miles and approaching, it accounts for the vertical distance of, say 30,000 feet/5.5 miles??? It think not; it would say x miles away, X feet in altitude.

I am sorry but if this is an appeal to logic little late bud.

So far we have a confirmation of a drone buzzing around Boxer by both sides. I lean to favoring the US but am waiting for the video. Am also favoring due to the WSJ reporter on the Boxer.

I really don't want to repeat that conversation with you which Solarz already laid it out for any objective people to see. You like tearing into videos that other people produce but you like to give all the benefit of the doubt to the ones that the US produces. If you did the same due diligence on the US video as you are doing on the Iranian one, we wouldn't be having these issues. It is glaringly amusing that you think that the WSJ reporter is credible because he was there but that the reports by people who witnessed the tanker being struck by a flying object are not credible. The only difference is that the American reporter has reason to be biased towards America while those aboard the attacked tanker have no reason to be biased towards Iran!

Logic is never early or late; it is always there but you can fool yourself into thinking it's not there if you close your eyes. Once again, the logic laid out in #232 is as solid and impartial as possible. To walk around it avoiding it does nothing for your argument but only exposes your inability to reason when your mind is clouded by nationalism. For you, every other country needs to provide evidence if they shoot something down, but not the US; for the US, other countries need to prove that it didn't shoot anything down or it did.

I don't aim to change your mind; I just lay out your humorous thinking for others to see.

I wonder what made them change their mind, or were they just showing the Brits that this could go on forever but Iran will keep it a 1 for 1? If it was me, I would keep the Mesdar and send back the Stena Imperio. Mesdar is similar in size to the Grace 1 while Stena is much much smaller. If they kept the Mesdar, they can just tell the UK to keep Grace 1 as long as they want and Iran will accept that as trade for the Mesdar. The only thing cool about Stena is that she's a new ship, entered service 2018.
